About
I was born in Hunan Province, China—a region in south-central China known for its spicy cuisine. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Beijing, then moved to the United States, where I completed my master’s in Ohio. I’m now finishing my PhD in Texas. Living and studying in such diverse cultural environments has shaped my wide-ranging interests and hobbies.
I love baking and cooking Chinese food, and I’m always thinking about what to make next.
For short breaks, I like playing video games. When I have more time, I enjoy getting out into nature and practicing photography.

I’m also passionate about scientific visualization and have been learning to use professional tools to bring my research projects to life.

And finally—I have a soft spot for animal memes.
