I was born in Hunan Province, China, a southern-central region known for its love of spicy food. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Beijing before moving to the United States, where I earned my master’s degree in Ohio. Now, I am about to finish my PhD in Texas. My experiences studying and living in different cultural regions have given me a wide range of interests and hobbies.
I enjoy baking and cooking Chinese food, and I’m constantly planning what meals to make each day. For short breaks, I love playing video games, while for longer vacations, I enjoy exploring nature and photography.

I aslo have a strong passion for scientific visualization and have been learning to use professional software to visualize my projects.
